New library service: anti-theft lock for loan.

How to use it?¹

1. Ask for the lock at one of the pick-up points².
2. Feed the cable through the hole on the table (or its side), or wrap the cable around the table’s leg in the reading rooms.
3. Feed the cable through the loop on the cable end and position its head in the laptop’s security slot.
4. Lock with the key and take the key with you.

Attention! You have to bring back the anti-theft lock till 19:45 (in the exam period 21:45) otherwise we charge an overdue fee (500 Ft/workday; lost or damaged anti-theft lock or key fee: 15.000Ft).

This free service is only available to our library patrons! The BME students can register for free in our library (Readers card one-time fee: 300 Ft)
