From 25 February, cash payments will be suspended and the account number will change.
Due to the change of the maintainer of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, from 1 March 2025 the BME will be maintained by a Private Limited Company.
Due to the model change, cash payments at the BME OMIKK will be suspended from 25 February 2025 for an estimated 3-4 weeks. Cash payments will be available for the last time on 24 February.
The University's account number and tax number will also change. After 28 February, the bank will send a message informing you that the transaction failed if you transfer to the old account number.
Fee-based services will continue to be available, but fees will only be settled after the changeover in the way you have chosen.
BME students and doctoral candidates can continue to settle their financial obligations to the library via Neptun, with a deadline of 15 April for items posted from 7 February.
